The barracks being empty ... very empty, leave it up to the fantasy to decide what was what, who worked where. Clearly, the majestic building with the heigh ceilings and decorated walls housed the officers and docters.
The other buildings have large dormitories, storage rooms, kitchens, a cinema, one bar for the NCO's and one bar for the soldiers, sport facilities, ... even some prison cells !
