Du Parc

On my first visit, the rain and wind made the roofs creak, while the drainpipes were choking and throwing up excess water. The factory made the noise of a drowning monster and I was ill at ease because I could not rely on my ears to detect other possible visitors.

A week later the weather was great, not a breath of wind and comfortably warm. The factory was as quiet as a church. I wandered around and felt very confident, until I ran into a man who thought that my camera tripod was a gun (talk about a guilty conscience). He claimed to be “repairing the elevator”.

Yeah, sure.
