The Leuna Refinery, former East-Germany

Inside, the atmosphere is very different. The offices and control rooms are the brains of this monster.
The electricity is still connected (for alarm systems) and most lights still operate.

The cellars are illuminated; containing thousands of wires and cables.
The offices have the typical bureaucratic feel; dull and old fashioned. Even flies die by the thousands. There is a room with a complete representation of the entire refinery process.
